How do I find a sports coach near me?
- Choose your activity, then enter your city or postcode (or tap "use my location") in the search at the top of this page. You will see verified local coaches ranked by rating, distance and availability, each showing their lesson price and the next slot they have open. Pick a time that suits you and book it — most bookings take under a minute.

How much do private 1-to-1 coaching lessons cost?
- Coaches set their own rates, so prices vary by sport, experience and location — every coach card shows a "from" price per lesson before you click. Many coaches also sell session packs, which lower the price per lesson when you book several at once, and new coaches often offer a free intro session so you can try before you commit.

Is my payment protected when I book a coach?
- Yes. Payment is taken when you book and held in escrow — the coach is not paid until your session has actually taken place. If a coach cancels a confirmed booking you are refunded in full, including the service fee. Card details are handled by Stripe; CoachDiscover never stores them.

Are the coaches verified and qualified?
- Every coach profile is reviewed by our team before it can be found or booked, and coaches who submit identity and qualification documents for approval carry a verified badge plus their approved credentials on their card and profile. Reviews and star ratings come only from athletes who completed a paid session, so the ratings you read are from real lessons.
